Traveling Activities Partner (Platonic): I will travel to your home (or place of your choosing) to play a board game, card game, or any other game of choice. If games are not your thing, we can watch a movie or tv show together and candidly dissect the work of art afterward. We can just hang out and talk for hour/s on end. If you need help with basic things, such as light cooking and basic decluttering, I can help you with that as a secondary helper. Need help with other things like sending e-mails, mailing letters, contacting family members and friends, setting things up on your computer, cell phone, and other electronic devices, or anything else of that nature? I am here for you! (Please note, I am not a caregiver, so I will not be able to help with any caregiving needs.)
For outings, you’ll need to set up a ride to get there. I can tag along with you for that ride or I can meet you at the outing. If you want help with planning outings (of all types) I can double as the planner. The outings can be to anywhere, ranging from: appointments, fun destinations, plays/musicals, art galleries, gardens, restaurants, parties, concerts, movie theaters, you name it! If the outing requires payment for me to attend, you will need to foot the bill, in addition to my hourly rate of $30 an hour.
I have previous experience as an Activities Assistant (at a behavioral assisted living facility for the disabled), so I have quality experience in this field!
If you require an aide to be by your side, it will be necessary that they attend any outing that we go on.
